The Pacuare is the quintessential tropical river. Along its course lie several densely vegetated gorges which shelter jaguars, ocelots, monkeys, sloths, and an incredible variety of birds.

This tour immerses you in the rich Costa Rican culture and history by experiencing the beautiful museums and historical sites of San José. It begins with an orientation and drive through the beautiful Sabana Park. Next, we will take a walking tour through the historic National Theater.

The Arenal Volcano is one of the most active volcanoes in the Americas. From our observation point, weather permitting, you may feel the ground tremble and see the night sky explode with ash and lava in a natural display of fireworks.

This tour is the combination of the Irazu Volcano National Park and the Orosi Lankester Garden tours. With this excursion you will see an impressive volcano, visit important historical and cultural places in our country and also will have the opportunity to see beautiful plants.

We take the Pan-American Highway towards the city of Alajuela. In route we will go to visit the Agriculture Monument, the Monument to Juan Santamaria and the famous Mango Park. As we ascend towards the volcano we will stop for a brief explanation on our golden bean the coffee, and then continue our trip through fern, flower and strawberry farms.

After a 1 ½ hour drive from San José to Puntarenas Dock and a stop for breakfast on route, you will board the 71-foot Catamaran Manta Raya for an unforgettable trip to Tortuga Island (Turtle Island).

We depart San Jose towards the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica including a stop for breakfast. On route, there will a boat tour along the Tárcoles River where we will observe crocodiles, water birds and migratory birds.

Twenty minutes outside of San Jose you will cross the Continental Divide and enter Braulio Carrillo National Park. After a half hour trip through the park, the bus will reach a 1000 acre private reserve of virgin forest.
